ToePuff
Toe puffs and stiffeners are reinforcing materials incorporated in the uppers of shoes during manufacture so as to preserve the last shape and original appearance of the shoe. Toe puffs reinforce the toe end of the shoe upper, and stiffeners retain shape and provide support at the back of the shoe.
HIGHGROWTH Thermoplastic Toe Puff and Counter stiffeners are engineered from complex blends of Fibre, Polymers, Resins and Coatings that require specific interface temperature to activate, re-activate and finally to set to form providing the optimum aesthetic and performance qualities. The wide range of footwear, from lightweight fashion shoes to heavy work boots, demands a correspondingly wide range of reinforcements to satisfy practical and aesthetic needs.
Furthermore, a wide range of materials is necessary as a result of the differences in manufacturing techniques, with their different demands on the properties of shoe components. Indeed, as more and newer materials become available, innovations will continue, with the aim of providing the most acceptable reinforcement of TOES and COUNTERS at the lowest prices.
Recently we have added a new TPU Toe Puffs Counters especially for FLYKNIT uppers in white and Black colour in different thickness. These materials present: Strong glutinosity, well bonding, High tensile, Good breaking and peeling resistance; Good in toughness, deflection and flexibility. There are also toe puffs and stiffeners made of non-woven materials.
